Before we know it, the Kansas City Harvest Rally will be upon us. We are looking forward to hosting the 11th annual Harvest Rally on Saturday, September 25th. There are many exciting plans in process for this special day, and we hope your youth group will be able to participate.
Harvest Teen Rally will be coming again with over 40 carnival-type events and their gigantic tent. New events and competitions are added each year. Trophies and prizes will be given for winners of the volleyball tournament.
Ron DeGarde will be our guest speaker this year. Ron and his wife Kristin travel full-time as evangelists and preach to teens all over the country. His burden is that teens give their lives completely to Christ. Lost teens will hear multiple and clear gospel presentations. The Harvest Rally is a great way to kick off your fall youth program. It’s like summer camp packed into one day! Your teens will have a great time participating in the activities and competitions.
Three times throughout the day we will have rallies under the big tent where dynamic preaching will directly target the needs of teenagers. The event will take place at Tri-City Baptist Church. This location eases several needs like parking, electricity, ice, bathrooms, trash, and several others. We held the Rally at this location for the first time in 2009 and received some very positive feedback.
Although it might seem rather far in advance, we would encourage you to pray whether to bring your teens to the 2010 K.C. Harvest Rally.
