Charlie came to faith in Christ when he was eighteen years old. As a child, up to the day of his salvation, he heard the gospel in Bible-preaching churches, but he never truly repented of his sin and trusted Christ. John 1:12 was preached in college chapel, and God, by His grace, lighted the way of salvation. Through many years of prayer, growth and active ministry, God answered by calling him very definitely to be a light of the gospel in Ghana. Julie was saved at the age of seven, baptized a couple years later, and publicly surrendered her life to do whatever God asked of her. When she was six, Julie decided that she would be a missionary nurse when she grew up. As she got older, that desire only intensified. She is excited that God has granted the desire of her heart by calling them to be missionaries in Ghana, West Africa.
