Eddie and Dianna knew each other from their high school days. After Eddie finished his tour in the US Navy, they were married. After departing from the Navy, Eddie was saved and called to preach in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He started his education in Oklahoma, but later transferred to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dianna was saved while she and Eddie were students at Tennessee Temple. Both surrendered to the mission field while students attending school. They have two daughters and four grandchildren. LeAnn and Don live in Pennsylvania. Connie and Kevin live in Houston, TX. The Woodfields have been faithfully serving as missionaries since 1972.
The Woodfields served in Spain and Italy while working with the US Armed Forces. They have had a part in starting several churches, Christian Day Schools, Bible Institutes, and one Radio Station. They have seen over 100 military people enter into full-time service for the Lord. Tri-City asked them to join OREMUNDO in July 1994, where he now serves in the capacity of Director and promoting the ministry of OREMUNDO in churches throughout the United States. OREMUNDO provides conferences and DVD Bible courses for Pastors and other Christian leaders in the United States and the Spanish-speaking world. They also provide US churches with opportunities for short-term mission trips into Mexico every year.
