That is a fair question to consider … are we all in for the LORD in our devotion?
Devotion implies not just love but also loyalty. True love is always loyal, but there are lesser forms of love in our world.
It is a biblical fact that there is no love without loyalty and no real loyalty without love … and neither can exist without an expenditure and investment of time. In the Sunday worship hour we asked the question, “ARE WE ALL IN FOR THE LORD — In Our Devotion?”
By examining the questions in this way, we were able to look, not just at our actions, but at our motives for those actions. Spending time in the Scriptures, prayer, worship, or service apart from the proper motives is unacceptable to our LORD. He desires not just the worship, but the worshipper.
Remember, the LORD always desires more than the act .. He wants our hearts.
