OUR MISSION STATEMENT: REACH.
Reaching Up | We Must Love the Lord:
We reach up through worship.
Reach In | We Must Serve Each Other:
We serve God by serving each other.
Reach Out | We Must Serve the Needy:
We must learn to be bold and courageous in REACHING others. Jesus commanded us to go into the world and present the good news.
Our vision is to know Christ and to make Him known.
We want you to enjoy our fellowship and worship. Messages are Bible based, practical, and relevant. The music is stylistically traditional with new songs introduced regularly.
We strive to serve your entire family. We desire our children to see and experience God’s love in a church that strengthens families.
Church is most alive when making Christ pre-eminent. Wherever you are in your journey, we welcome you to worship with us.
Ron and Terri came to Tri-City to minister back in 1999 and have served here in several different capacities throughout the past seventeen years. They now have four grown children, Jason, Joshua, Rachel, and Jonathan, and a son-in-law, Guillermo, and grandson, Malachi.
Michael served at Tri-City before being called away to minister at Bethel Baptist in Marshfield, Missouri where he served for the past four years. We are excited to have the Parkins returning to join us in March. Michael will be serving primarily in our youth and children’s departments.
Allen and Andrea Probus came to the Independence area about thirteen years ago to serve in the Kansas City Symphony. They have both been active in our church music ministry during that time. Allen has served as our minister of music for the past six years.
Matt and Donna Williams have been very involved in the ministry at Tri-City over the last thirty years. They moved away to Wisconsin for a period of about ten years and when they came back to the area Matt returned to served here about three years ago.
